Comments
Comments: 2-12 inches of snow leading up to the cabin, knee deep and more near the summits. Roughly 2 tenths of a mile past the cabin it was mostly rock so I took off my snowshoes and bare booted to South Baldface.
Some tricky sections of ice ascending the ledges but easily avoidable. Intermittent bare rock and deep snow along the ridge and down to eagle crag.I put my snowshoes back on after summiting South Baldface for the rest of the trip.
