| Comments: |
From car, we walked Brown Rd. to a Y-jct. Took a left here and followed road, through Bunnell gate, for another 1.5 miles. Road had thin coating snow over ice. Bushwhacked from road to col between Pleasant and E. Pleasant. Wide open hard woods, hard surface with little snow depth. Had to remove snowshoes in steeper section nearing col due to lack of snow cover. Once in col, deeper snow forced us to put on snowshoes. Last 10 minutes to recognized summit were rather scratchy. |
