Comments
Comments: From the Discovery TH, we crossed the Kanc, headed down to the river and found a decent crossing, then bushwhacked up one of Scar’s Northeast ridges. Decent woods down low, got progressively thicker as we climbed. Saw faint signs of a herd path here and there as the ridge narrowed. Gained the top of the ridge on the bump east of the summit - pretty easy traverse over.

Great snow conditions for bushwhacking - nice solid surface with a few inches fresh snow. Getting a little sticky and soft on the descent.

Thanks to Leah for joining us for on this surprisingly quick trip up West Scar.
