Ossipee Park Road was well plowed. The parking area itself wasn't plowed when we got there, but before we started the hike, a plow came by and plowed it for us. |

| Comments: |
We were the first on the trail after about 4 inches of snow fell overnight. Trail is now packed all the way to the summit. Some substantial icy sections under the snow, including several of the steeper climbs. Caution is needed in those areas. Not as much ice in the evergreen section near the top. Icy conditions on some of the hills were perfect for butt-sliding, though. Small areas of exposed rock on the upper open ledges and not much exposed rock lower down, though that will probably change with the warming temperatures this week. Amazing and beautiful hike with perfect weather and lots of fresh snow! |
