Parking lot was plowed but icy. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
The stream crossing at the beginning was a challenge for some new to Winter Hiking. Water was high and fast. Rocks were wet and some icy. Make sure you have waterproofed boots. |

A few blow-downs on the trail. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
The slabs on the decent from Dickey were very icy. Dogs were having difficulty with their footing. |

Trail was packed and provided firm footing. Upper sections of the trail were either ice or bare rock. |
