Comments
Comments: Gorgeous day to hit the Wildcats. Glen Ellis crossing was manageable with a few good hops. This trail is steep. Lots of scrambles, but worth it - we had awesome views of the Presidentials after only 20 minutes. Scrambles were super fun, dry rocks and good hand holds. Lots of ups and downs between D and A. We decided to return to D peak and descend via ski trails rather than go down some of the scrambles to the parking lot. It follows the maintenance road most of the way, some annoying loose rock, but not bad. Other areas were recently mowed. Quick lunch at the base lodge and a 1-1.5 mi walk along the road back to the car to complete the loop.
