Comments
Comments: A great day to be out, avoided most traffic with scenic routes. On the trail, crowds were still pretty minimal. Clouds moved in and out over the course of the day, making a great addition to the views. The ledges on the Circle Trail were excellent, and only wet in few places. We saw a group with a couple dogs who we didn't see again on the summit, assuming because this portion of the trail really isn't suitable for dogs (Slippery Brook to Baldface Knob would be more ideal). Lots of blueberries along the way. On the descent we had Baldface Knob all to ourselves, as well as the Slippery Brook trail. The Emerald Pool unfortunately was a zoo once we got back down to the end of the loop (versus hardly anyone earlier at 10:00), so we made our way upstream for our own spot.
