| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Downes Brook Trail lot was partially filled. The "Iron Ranger" parking fee collection box was covered with a trash bag (like it was in the last government budget shutdown) so I don't know if there is no longer a fee, or if you need to pay another way. My parking pass covered me anyway. |

Crossing of Downes Brook not difficult today. Could be rockhopped or crossed on a downed tree. |

No issues, trail is in very good condition. |

| Bugs: |
Some mosquitoes in the first few tenths from the trailhead, but no problem after the brook crossing really. |
