plenty of parking mid/late afternoon - several buses parked also |

first crossing was a bit high - rocks were slippery |

a LOT of mud along the col between the 2 peaks |

saw a dog that had a hard time with some of the ledges |

not bad - a few in-your-face types, though |

clothing on the road in front of trailhead lot |

Terrific hike - always enjoy this loop, especially when I'm the last one down!!!! Rock slabs were a bit scary because some were quite wet - I was afraid I was going to slide even though I was coming through late afternoon, the skies were blue and the sun was shining even though it was setting :). Continuing to work through an ankle injury - this was a bit tough on the ankle stability.... nice afternoon!!!! |
