Comments
Comments: Gorgeous day on the trail. Many flowering plants, saw a male spruce grouse, adult eastern milksnake, turkey vultures, common ravens, white-throated sparrows singing like mad on the balds. Only saw a handful of other hikers all day long. Hiked with my 11-year old son - who rocked it!

Chandler Gorge loop worth the side trip - gorgeous (haha)...Emerald Pool drew us in for a dip. Wicked cold and lovely for a cliff jump :)
