| Comments: |
We set out from the parking lot in a SSW direction through open woods and older clearcuts until 2200', then it got a little scratchy up to the summit.
From the summit we headed SE through spruce/blowdowns which fortunately was short lived. Soon came into open woods/older clearcuts up to the col.
Southerly facing slopes have several bare spots/exposed ledges and boulders.
Trip up to Blue was through wide open woods with the required scratchy stuff higher up.
Outstanding bushwhacking surface conditions where the snow cover enabled us to walk on potential nasty sprucy areas and above blowdowns. |
