Comments
Comments: Slippery Brook Trail was dry and in good shape - large waterbars (from culvert removal) a bit vexing, though. Continued on logging road where trail turns into the woods. Followed logging roads up to near top landing, then turned onto an older road and followed into a large meadow, then bushwhacked from there up the ridge (mostly open hardwoods, some prickers) to what appeared to be the old Sable Mountain Trail, then up to summit. A dusting of snow up high. Virtually no leaves left above East Branch Road (or on hike), but some nice foliage on lower Slippery Brook Road.
