Lots of wet patches with quite a bit of mud on the ridge, but nothing crazy and no traction needed. 1 or 2 big trunks across, but easy to hop over. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Doable for dogs. A couple of small scrambles, but I don't think most would have any problems. |

None |

| Lost and Found: |
A maroon/purple hat hanging on tree branch next to trail. I lost my sunglasses and my partner lost a small, black glove. |

An absolutely breathtaking day above treeline. Well worth hiking on already tired legs! A beautiful trail ascends gradually for the first 2.5ish miles. A good climb up the wall to the ridge, but nothing technical. Watch out for slippery roots and rocks though! Ridge trail meanders through the trees and crosses a number of bog bridges (slippery) and finally pops you out above treeline. Some good mud up there, but not too hard to maneuver. A gorgeous hike! |
