Nicely maintained trails, excellent signage |

Nice shaded woods trail but bring water. Many rock steps but our doodle made it look easy. |

There are no signs or maps at the kiosk so it was helpful to have a map with us (bought at the Gilford library).We were able to help 2 other hiking groups with directions because of our map. Most importantly, there really is no view from Belknap unless you are willing to climb the fire tower and then you have a great 360 view. We ascended the red trail and descended the blue trail(a little more meandering than the red trail). Nice, easy to moderate terrain on the summit to cross over to Gunstock, worth the trip if you didn't climb the tower, to get the view. |
