Some major blowdowns on both trails that have resulted in some trail rerouting around them- big stuff that would need chainsaws to remove. Trails generally in good shape and easy to follow. |

This is one of those hikes you do just to check it off the list (NE 100)- there are no views or other interesting features. The up and down on North is very long, just like the WM Guide suggests. Didn't see another soul all day except in the parking lot. |
