Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A large blowdown is present at one part that covers 75% of the trail. You can slide past it.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Boomer had no issues today. This trail is really straightforward. Plenty of water on the trail until the switchbacks.
Bugs
Bugs: Deer flies were present in the parking lot, but the rest of the trail was bug free. The Deer flies were annoying, but thankfully were not biting.

Comments
Comments: This is a quick hike that provides a similar experience as a mountain like Mt. Major, but with fewer views. This mountain has more elevation, but only provides a view south. A spur trail supposedly leads to a view of Stinson Lake and north, but the spur trails I found on the summit provided no additional views as everything was overgrown.

The trail is completely under cover so after the good rain we had the night before the rocks were quite slick, but the trail was virtually mud free.
