Comments
Comments: Having not found a recognized highpoint last summer when I went from the north, I chose to go for Moran Notch peak again, sing Jack's route. I took the left road, which is also the cohos trail. I followed it to Moran meadow, where the trail turns east and crossed the meadow. From there, I bushwhacked north to the recognized high point, finding good woods.

I headed down towards Cranberry bog notch, hitting some initially thick going. I hit the notch such that I did not need to contend with any swampy areas. From there, it was a steep open-woods climb to the very recently recognized highpoint.

I returned by heading east and back up to the cohos, meeting it just north of cathedral meadow.
