Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: wanting to start for a road I knew, I parked towards the beginning of the west end of success pond road, where power lines cross the road and head along the west slope. However, there is a paved road, which to the south, which is crossed by the lines, which could provide closer access.

Comments
Comments: This is the 1873 peak just south of success pond road in berlin.

I followed the power lines to near the height of land; the walking was good, as there are paths. From there, I began to bushwhack towards the peak. There were points of open woods, but mostly just low growth, which made for harder going. I would occasionally hit a skid road. The new recognized high point a somewhat isolated wooded patch in an area, that is otherwise covered in low growth. A stump is near the recognized maple tree.
