Comments
Comments: It was a gorgeous "spring" day (felt more like summer) which brought everyone out to the trail. The trail was pretty dry most of the way, some parts of mud and large puddles in the mud, lots of slippery rocks (each of us in our group fell once today) as everything is melting and water is flowing again, some small sections of ice just before the summit of Osceola from the Mt. Osceola trail but it was completely avoidable. Brought spikes but didn't use them. Larger sections of ice continuing on to the East Peak (near the Osceola summit) but can be avoided by walking to the side of it that has been used more. The chimney was fairly dry, the climb up the vertical wall was carefully manageable. Great day overall, the bare summit felt like a dog park though.
