Comments
Comments: Deidra, Old Man with a Saw, and I had a great day. Much of the trail was bare bootable, but some spots were very icy and tricky. Even with Hillsounds we had to bushwhack around places, especially on the north side of North Baldface. We didn't do the south ledges. Coming out we met emergency personnel hiking in to rescue a young man who apparently fell and broke his ankle up near the intersection of the Bicknell Ridge Trail and the Baldface Circle Trail on the upper ridge. We wish them all well! That ice will be very nasty in the dark.
