|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All crossings were easy today. Water was down a bit. Many had well placed rock steps for easy crossing. When we had to use the ice it was not great. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Once on the actual trail (not the forest service roads) there were lots of blowdowns. Most you could step over but they were larger trees which will take some work to cut and remove. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw none but would be a great dog trail. |

| Bugs: |
Springtails (snow fleas) |

Blueberry Mtn Trail (northern end)
Trail starts on forest service roads (logging) and then becomes a trail. There were lots of streams to cross and semi frozen wet spots. We barefooted to about 2000 feet and then the ice bulges started so we put on Micro's which were fine. More snow up high as well. People have come in from the South but we were the only tracks from North. Lots of old stone walls and evidence of the old homesteads that were up here. Great day out with Karen. |
