Returned to the Ossipees today, this time to bag Mt. Roberts. The lower part of the trail was kind of meh, but the upper part was awesome! Got caught in a snow squall here, which made for a mysterious-type feel. My favorite part was the conifer forest near the top. Made me feel like I was further north and higher up, especially with the fresh snow and bla ice. No traction needed... yet.
Great hike! |
