| Comments: |
Trails were mostly dry. There were no obstructions across the trails. The chimney between East Osceola and Osceola was dry so ascent and descent over the steep rock was safe. Take the short side trail near the summit of Mt Osceola for the north view to the Pemigewasset area (starts at ledge with old fire tower base support - west of main summit fire tower supports).
After descent from East Osceola I visited the Greeley Ponds where there was a cooling breeze, nice views< and croaking frogs. |
