Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: There are 3 significant water crossings on the Hancock Notch trail. All are rock hoppable.  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The Hancock Notch trail is a superhighway to the Cedar Brook Junction with minor avoidable mud. After the junction there is a major blowdown combination of fir and birch trees with significant mud, standing water and additional blowdowns (all maneuverable)

Bugs
Bugs: minimal. I was the first visitor past the junction and broke many cobwebs crossing the trail.

Comments
Comments: Hiked to the Hancock Notch height of land and started the bushwhack heading for the talus slope. Amazing views of the Hancocks to the north. Bushwhacking conditions transitioned from thick to moderate to thin every few hundred yards. Steep, steep, steep.
