The only major one, right after heading up the Welch branch of the loop, was easily rock hopped. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The trail is in excellent shape, no complaints here! Should be expected when it's one of the most used trails in NH. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Great hike for dogs, but watch them on the upper ledges, especially if they're wet. |

Moderate down low, but somewhat bad on the summits. |

| Comments: |
Slept in until 12 PM, then headed to Waterville Valley for a nice afternoon hike after tying up some loose ends at home. Excellent hike as always- the magnificent views, ledgy goodness, challenging terrain, and great conversation always make it worthwhile.
4.4 mi rt, 1,900 ft. of gain, and it took a little less than 2 hours not including my summit breaks. |
