Comments
Comments: Barebooted past the Hut, but changed to snowshoes as snow depth increased to 4-5 inches. Fortunately temps stayed below freezing so outerwear stayed relatively dry while pushing through snow-ladden conifers over the Cannonballs, where the track was frequently obliterated by the new snow, causing a few route finding challenges. Descending Hi-Cannon was tricky due to the very narrow steep-sided monorail up high and viscious post-holing lower down.
