Lost and Found: Found one pair of trekking poles returned on the trail. Lost one green/brown hat and one water bottle cozy containing thermos. Send email if found and have a desire to return. I miss my hat! Luckily I had a spare!

Comments
Comments: Took about 5 steps without snowshoes and turned around to inspect my tracks didn't like the damage I was creating so promptly put on snowshoes till I returned to the road. The warmer temps have helped to set up this trail again. 2 others seen at least one was a barebooters who was messing up the trail especially beyond Whiteface where it is drifted a bit in places. Another great day out/ Winter K 31/48.
