| Comments: |
Saw tracks for first quarter mile of York Pond trail which turned out to be a tease. No evidence of anyone but moose on this trail nor on this particular section of KKR trail. Gorgeous day out in these beautiful open woods. A lot of work breaking the trail- almost 5 miles out to Middle Weeks and at times had difficulty route finding. Some blazes were probably concealed by snow covered trees and some undoubtedly on toppled trees but managed just fine. Not a hiker anywhere up there today- no other cars in lot. Long time since I'd been out on this section- over 10 years. So nice up there! |
