Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No issues - all are easily passable - for dogs and humans.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Kenduskeag (non AT section) has some sections which are quite over-grown and also some significant mud sections. Some of the mud sections are quite deep but can be avoided with some effort.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: A great day for the "veterans" - Pepper&Cinnilla. A bit more challenging for the "rookie" - Shamus - but he did fine and handled the obstacles well. There is plenty of water-streams along these trails (although none on the AT section of the Kenduskeag Tr.).
Bugs
Bugs: The dogs seemed to pick up a lot of ticks on this hike - most likely on the overgrown sections of the Kenduskeag Tr.

Comments
Comments: A nice Fall-hike for the dogs, John and I. With the low-waters at this time of year the crossings of the Rattle River were very easy.
