Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I saw one dog. A confident hiking dog can probably handle it, but there are a few difficult spots.
Bugs
Bugs: Maybe I'm just lucky, but this has been a miraculous bug-free season for me. Didn't need bug spray at all on this one.

Comments
Comments: There were a few wet/muddy spots here and there, but all were small, on level areas, and very easily circumvented. Since the Wildcat Ridge Trail is such a steep trail, I highly recommend that anyone who has Wildcat "A" and "D" on their to-do list should try to get there before it rains again.
