| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty of space mid week at both Glen Ellis and Nineteen-Mile Brook lots. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Crossing of Ellis River had a couple long steps to wet rocks. I made use of a stick for balance. All crossings on Nineteen-Mile Brook Tr. with nice solid lumber now. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Both trails in excellent shape with recent improvements evident. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Climb from Glen Ellis to Wildcat E could be too much for most dogs. |
| Bugs: |
Lots of black flies once upon the Nineteen-Mile Brook Trail. |

| Comments: |
Few sprinkles on both Wildcat D and later on Wildcat A. Refreshing breeze and minor rain during road walk. Fairly nice views all day. Trails excellent, mostly dry. All was well until badly rolling ankle near Carter Dome Tr. jct.. In hindsight fortunate to happen on lower Nineteen-Mile Brook Tr. and not up on ridge. |
