Comments
Comments: Nice easy hike, no problem for kids we had a couple of 7 year olds it was a perect distance and elevation for them. Took the Stinson trail up and came down the snowmobile trail. Lots of ferns and green foliage. Good views from the top, although only towards Plymouth and the windmill farm. For some reason I couln't find the spur trail for views of Stinson Lake. I'm sure it was my bad but nice views just the same. I'm a little surprised it made the "52 With A View" list but I understand the view to the north has grow in quite a bit over the years but a expected a little better. Very easy descent although there was some mud about 1/3 of the way down. On the decent one in my group caught a glimpse of a moose crossing the trail just ahead. The dog sure could tell!! Overall a nice gentle hike with good views relative to the effort.
