There's a black glove at the Pemi Wilderness sign and a walking stick at the trailhead |

Still lots of snow, snowshoes all the way. Even with snowshoes, when the weather is above freezing expect to post hole really badly the half mile leading up to Nancy Cascade. The trail to the left of the cascade has steep snow slopes, pole would have been really handy for balance, I had to use branches and tree trunks. Above the cascade the snow pack is more stable and can still be walked on for the most part, for the time being. Nancy and Norcross Ponds are still frozen beneath snow.
