19 Mile Brook was rock solid so we barebooted to Wildcat Ridge junction and switched to snowshoes. There had been plenty of barebooting from the junction to the summit when the trail was not rock solid and this section of trail was not a good track. The side hills were a little tricky given the choppy surface. At the summit of A the beautiful track resumed and we kept our snowshoes on to the car. Some limited views and some sun to the east. Temps were not bad and wind ok. Got a quick view of Madison and Adams for a few minutes. Great to run into John and Pepper. Congrats to JohnG for finishing G-2 in February....always a fun day to hike with you!! |
