Comments
Comments: Hillsound Trail Crampons and Trail Pro Crampons worked well. Anything less was dangerous. The ice was considerable, looking more like melted lava. One man turned back after summiting Cannon because the trail was too icy for his dog to continue.

Our group was hoping to reach South Kinsman, but one member had 'Kako ICEtrekkers Diamond Grip Traction System' which were useless and our pace was very slow. No one was injured and we were out before dark with the new shorter route.
