Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The major crossing was difficult, took about 5 minutes and some Gortex boots to find the way. On the way out, it was crossed in less than a minute. Look for the cairns to identify the best crossing!
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Lots of blowdowns up higher, perhaps still left from Irene? Trail maintenance needed!
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: Nil, until we zipped up the tent.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: One small insulated glove at the beginning of the Nancy Pond wilderness area. I put it on the tree near the sign. I may have lost a blue buck knife with an attached LL Bean small thermometer at the first campsite to the right of the beaver dam.(along the herd path).

Comments
Comments: White mountain weather. 60' in tent at night, woke up to 25' the next morning! Great hike.
