Comments
Comments: The Kinsman-Cannon Mountain Range remained in the clear until sometime between 4:00PM and 5:00PM.
The footing on the steeper ledge areas on Hi-Cannon and Fishin' Jimmy trails were mostly dry and even on the wet areas I did not find it slippery today. Not much mud.
Nice view down to Lonesome Lake from Hi-Cannon Trail and a good view down to Kinsman Pond from the second (lower) ledge off the summit of North Kinsman. Large cairn marks the summit of South Kinsman.
When I arrived back at the parking area at sunset there were many vehicles. Hopefully everyone got down with the low clouds in the Notch and nightfall setting in. Some may have been at Greenleaf Hut or camping out.
Met Mr Kinsman when I was descending from Kinsman Pond.
