|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Walked gravel logging road extension to Carter Notch Road to avoid a trail crossing of the Wildcat River. The crossing of Bog Brook was easy. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The Wildcat River Trail was in good condition. The Wild River Trail from Wildcat River Trail and Bog Brook Trail has some very muddy and wet sections often overgrown with grass which hides the pathway and any rocks. The wet sections could really use bog bridges or stepping stones and the cutting of the grass. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Plenty of water on this route. Dogs will get wet and muddy. |
|
| Bugs: |
I was swarmed by flies and mosquitoes. I do not use repellent. This was by far the worst bug day this year. |
