Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail is in need of maintenance. York Pond, brushy. Wet down low. Kilkenny Ridge from YPT junction is also in need of being brushed back. Some blowdowns in col between N and M lead you onto a herd path and not the trail. Lots of blowdowns going up S.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Plenty of water on YPT but nothing on Kilkenny Ridge.
Bugs
Bugs: They were there but not too bad when we moved. Drove us off of S peak when we tried to eat.

Comments
Comments: As noted the trails need maintenance. We caught our mistake as we were ascending on the side hill of Middle peak. Returned and found our error. The herd path and the blowdowns will pull you this way. There was flagging but we missed it. Did see a Pine Marten because of this little detour. Hot! Great day out with our pacing taskmaster Greg. Kicked the old folks butts!,
