Comments
Comments: Mud, mud, mud. Best conditions were minor mud (first portion of the roadwalk), then increasingly deep mud. Woods were also muddy. The forecasted sun never really broke through. Instead, it rained.

We hiked up to near the height of land in Gadwah Notch, then followed the ridge to the recognized summit. The woods weren't ideal, but they weren't terrible either. We descended sort of in a line toward the Nash Stream crossing. Though thick and steep initially, the woods opened up very nicely, making for some of the best walking all day.
