Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Crossing of Baldface Circle from North Baldface is difficult, but possible as rock hop 10 yards upstream. I have short legs, and there was a long step, but I remained dry.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Eastman Mt. trail had several blowdowns - none difficult. Baldface Circle had many downed small trees between South Baldface and Eagle Crag - none difficult. Baldface Circle down from eagle Crag had many downed trees in upper section. one was really bad - totally wiped out trail, necessitating hairy bushwhack and searching for trail continuation. Recommend going north to bushwhack (I went south!)
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: none
Bugs
Bugs: none - too cold!

Comments
Comments: Eastman Mt. Trail seems used mostly by moose. The summit view is getting overgrown. I did it because I've never been there. i won't go back. Quite a few snow patches (all soft and none more than a few steps), tons of moose droppings, and many downed small trees made the section between South and Eagle slow going. Descent from eagle Crag was unpleasant - lots of blowdowns in upper section (one really nasty), and many sections of wet, muddy ground (all mud and water was shallow).
