Water Crossing Notes: First crossing required wading in some very cold water. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Just before the steep ascent to Eagle Crag there are three large Spruces down across the trail in one spot. Can't go over or crawl under. Need to back off about 60 feet and climb the rock face to the right. Trail needs more painted blazes especially at higher elevations.

Bugs: Black flies were out in small numbers.

Comments
Comments: Some portions of the trail, especially in the woods, had snow up to two feet deep. Most of the exposed rock had running water and was very slippery.

Views were spectacular in all directions. South Baldface had great views of Mt Washington.
