Comments
Comments: We did a loop laid out for us by the Trail Bandit. It involved taking old logging roads and a skidder tract that connected briefly with the Cold Spring Trail and the Faraway Mt. trail and took us from the park pretty well straight up to the High Ridge trail near Faraway Mt. Once up on top we followed the High Ridge trail to Mt. Roberts trail which we took down. It's a great trail up. Many thanks to the Trail Bandit for the directions. No special equipment needed. There was some snow on the High Ridge trail but it presented no real difficulties. Wore my summer boots for the first time since last fall.
