ski area open and active today. friendly staff. across wildcat ridge there was 2-8" of pristine fluffy snow, more where it is drifted. really lovely snowshoeing. snowshoes are definitely the way to go; there is too much loose snow. it was definitely winter today! windy and cold, but beautiful sunshine and views. i saw no other hikers, so this trail will probably be entirely drifted back in by morning. |
