Comments
Comments: The trail was firm with crusty snow conditions early but became quite soft by 11:00 AM as temps reached the 40's. I did not use snowshoes on the way up but I should have had them on the way down since the trail was getting chewed up by barebooters. There is snow all the way to the summit, even on the ledges. I expected to see bare ice up high so I wore full crampons but microspikes would have been fine.

A spectacular day for viewing provided clear views in all directions and warm temps. I was down to just a shirt on the way down and I even saw some snow fleas. I guess spring can't be far away now.
