| Trails: |
Notch Trail, Mahoosuc Trail, Goose Eye Trail |

| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Success Pond was a little bumpy (low clearance cars watch out for rocks sticking up) and very dusty. Keep an eye out for ATVs and dirt bikes flying through. There's room for parking off the main road for both the Goose Eye Trail and the Notch Trail (a .5 mile side road to a lot). |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Rock hoppable on both approach trails. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Moderate sized birch blowdown about halfway up the Goose Eye Trail. Some rotted out bog bridging on the Mahoosuc Trail. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Some scrambles on the Mahoosuc and Goose Eye trails that are doable for experienced trail dogs, but challenging otherwise. Bring water for the ridgewalk - there's mud and some muddy water, but not much in way of clean drinking water for them. |
| Bugs: |
Some deer flies down low, but otherwise not too bad. |

| Comments: |
Trails were generally dry and in good shape. Very few people out. This particular section of the Mahoosuc Trail was very scenic with lots of alpine zone walking. |
