 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The trail is in great shape. There was one older blowdown about 2.4mi in, and easy step over. Shortly after there is a tandem of smaller trees down, running parallel and mostly blocking the trail. |

A good hike for dogs but none were seen today. |

 | Comments: |
Out and back via Old Speck Trail. Short patches of snow and ice start somewhere around 3,500 ft. Remaining monorail sections avoidable until the last approach to the junction and through to the summit. I easily booted up and tossed on spikes just for descending that small stretch. |
