| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Room for maybe 3 cars on pull off, but everyone parked on road. Which, by the way, my relatively new SUV was not super siked on but its passable. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Significant |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
A couple of wide-ish rockhoppable streams on Carlo, one or two on Goose Eye Trail. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Carlo Col was a tad overgrown, nothing bad whatsoever. Water bars were real nice. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw a beagle who was doing the AT. Really humbling experience. |

Wish I had not brought poles. Accidentally dropped them down the scramble I'd just went up on Goose Eye, had to chuck them down most of the AT, then they weren't super necessary on the way down Carlo Col. Other that that anti-pole bit, everything else is laid out in words and pictures in my Blog. OH and, I went Goose Eye --> Carlo, which was hard, but honestly both ways are hard and I think its just a matter of if you wanna go down ladders and have strong triceps, go up Goose first. If not, go up Carlo first.
