Comments
Comments: First up was the Jordan Mountain Trail up Jordan Mountain. It starts behind the Jordan Mountain Hotel, which makes for an odd start to the hike. It seems like it was recently built, and the footbed still feels new. It is well marked with orange blazes, and the occasional hiker sign. There are two blue blazed side trails off of the main trail, one leads to what was marked as a scenic view, but doesn't really have a view at all, and the other leads to the true summit of the mountain, which is viewless.

The last section of the trail past the summit spur is technically temporarily closed due to construction of the resort's new monstrosity of a lift, but I assumed (correctly) that they wouldn't be working on a Sunday, so I hiked that section of trail because it leads to the best viewpoint of the hike where it ends at the Lollapalooza ski trail. One thing worth noting is that Sunday River's hiking trail map says the trail is 0.4 mile long, when in fact it is a bit over a mile in each direction; I'm not sure how they messed that up. It's quite a nice trail with the view at the end, and the beautiful mossy forest that it passes through.
