Comments: Epic day doing the Traveler loop. Went counter clockwise… views all day on a beautiful blue sky white puffy cloud day. Footing is rugged… a lot of rocks. I wore trail runners and was fine but if you have questionable ankles then you may want mids for ankle support. Very strenuous hike. I started at 7:00am and was done at 5:00pm. Many breaks and pictures were to be had. Honestly didn’t want the day to end. I had 11.5 miles….. I carried 3 liters of water but I could of drank 4 easily. No water up there so bring plenty…. I applied and reapplied sunblock. A day I’ll never forget. One of the best hikes I’ve ever done. BSP is always a magical place.
